Privacy policy

This policy explains how Edges handles personal information, and it is written to meet the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). Edges is the responsible party for the information described here.

What we collect

• Nothing you have to give us. You can read every page on this site without creating an account, giving a name, or entering an email address.
• Email you send us. If you write to us, we hold your message and address for as long as it takes to deal with it and to keep a record of the correspondence.
• Standard server logs. Our hosting provider records requests, including IP address, approximate location, browser type and the page requested. These are used to keep the site available and secure.

Cookies

Edges sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. When you click through to a bookmaker, that operator's affiliate system will typically place a cookie on your device so the referral can be attributed to us. That cookie is set by the operator or its affiliate network under their privacy policy, not ours, and you should read the policy on the site you land on.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Doing so does not stop you using this site.

Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Information is only ever processed by our hosting and email providers acting on our instructions, or disclosed where the law requires it.

Where information is held

This site is served from a global content delivery network, so log data may be processed outside South Africa. We only use providers that apply protections comparable to POPIA.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our processing it, and complain to the Information Regulator. Children

This site is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version appears here with a new review date.
